LG sound problem

I've had my laptop for about 4 months with no real problems up until now.

When recording audio, recording from "line in" and "microphone" work fine, but when recording from "stereo mix", I just get silence. For those who are not aware, recording "stereo mix" is just recording the sound output of whatever is being played, into a file for example.

I need this for work, and would be willing to get my laptop fixed/replaced to alleviate this problem.

Can another owner of an LW40 tell me if they also have this problem?

Now, I'm just guessin here. Try playing with the master volume, the mic could be working but the volume that actually controls the stereo mix output isn't working.
