    Hi, Guys,

First time to come here, let me introduce myself, I used to be in Asus forum known as CanadaSys, we are Canadian based Asus / Acer / LG notebook dealer. We are expending to US market in a month or so, our office will be in New Jersey.

Two days ago, I went to a notebook dealer meeting and met the "LG_Man" in this forum, I just realized there are no LG distributors and resellers in US market(maybe some resellers already here, but he didn't know, if any here, we will ne one of these), LG notebook are very elegent and stylish as you all know, so I have decided to bring LG notebook to the US market when our New Jersey office open. We will start from Core Duo models only. Here are some models we are currently selling(Prices in Canadian $): http://www.milestonepc.com/canada/index.php?cPath=187_209

We have good reputation in Asus area, maybe people in here don't really know me well and hesitate, don't worry, you should be safe to deal with us, if you concern our warranty back up, at least you have LG USA here, they cover all the service expense including shipping.

I will be here as in Asus forum, provide product info and realse news and benchmark reports for you to better decide what model to choose. I am quite busy at this moment and I need some warm-up here, forgive me If I have a slower response to your questions at the begining, I will speed up soon. Here is the "sticky" benchmark thread we have in Asus forum, I will provide similiar thing here later, hope it can help you on your decision.

oh man, I hope you get some LG LW40s. They're the LG equivelent of the W3V.. pretty much same exact specs! but it's soo cheap now.. under $1300USD (basing on Canadian prices) i'm sure those would sell well even though they are the Sonoma generation

    Hi there, Milestone.

In my current quest for a new notebook I've been reading the posts here and elsewhere for a while and I can [almost] say I will get an LG. My main doubt is whether it'll be the P1 (the one on steroids) or the S1.

I had a look at the link you posted... Is the price difference only because of the "looks", or is there anything else to tell them apart?

And if not too much trouble, could you please comment on your experience with either notebook (feedback from custumers or your own).

Any views/comments are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    All the best!

MilestonePC, when will USA customers be able to order LG notebooks? I'd be interested in getting one asap.

Not true! If you live in the states you just find a Canadian dealer that ships to the U.S. That is what I did when I bought my LM50a. I used NCIX and they did a great job of it! There are other dealers who will also ship LG units to the states too!

haha moku!! if that did happen, then NCIX would be all "you're on my turf beeyatch! " and that'll lead to a massive gang war...where the result would be amazing low low competitive prices.....

Then agian you save on the PST if you order from ontario (if you're in vancouver)
