    Hi all,

I'm currently a very happy owner of an LG LS50a which I bought a couple years ago. However, with my sister interested in inheriting this notebook, I've been looking into upgrading into a newer notebook.

LG recently released the Z1 model and I've looked through some gorgeous pictures of it in this forum. Although it looks spectacular aesthetically, does anyone have any concrete reviews regarding performance of this machine? Most specifically, I'd love to know what the average speed is against benchmarks of other machines (ie Macbook, other LGs, etc) and the battery life of the machine (is it >3.5hrs?)

The basic specs (I believe!) I've seen so far are:
    - Intel Core2Duo T5600 1.83Ghz processor
    - 1x1024 DDR2 667MHz of memory
    - 120 GB SATA 5400 RPB HD
    - Super multi DVD-DL
    - 2.8lbs

Any response is hugely appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
