    Everyone,

I have searched long and hard for a notebook and finally found one that really peaked my interest LG T1 Express. Below are the questions I have.

Can you buy this anywhere in the States or online that will sell to someone in the US?

Are they going to upgrade the processer to the Core 2 Duo? If so when?

Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Try milestonepc.com. Look at the sticky at the top of the LG forum for more details
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=76473

See the same thread. The T1 is NOT listed as one of the models that will be upgraded to Merom. I would guess the reason is that, initially at least, the T1 used the low-voltage version of the Core Duo (L2300/L2400). There are likely MB issues preventing a simple upgrade to Merom (Core 2 Duo).

It's possible that the T1 will be upgraded in the future (I don't have any info on this), but if you're insitent upon Merom, have a look at the LG R1. It's the only 14" Merom notebook LG currently offers

That's correct at the moment, we do sell LG laptops to the US and ship there too.

As for Core 2 Duo in the T1, you may have to wait a while, since it does use low voltage Core Duo.

If you have any questions please ask.
