    Hey guys,

    I am looking for a desktop replacement computer and I saw this S1 in my local store:

    I think it's overpriced! A nice machine but overpriced. Try filling out the FAQ and then we'll advice you on what to buy.

    If that is a European price including VAT then it is not massively overpriced. On first look it is slightly strange to have the T2250 coupled with a good GPU and big HDD, but in reality the performance difference between the T2250 and the more expensive T5500 is small. I hope the HDD is 5400RPM.

    Yeah, that is a European price with VAT. HDD is 5400RPM. I was worrying if the processor is too slow. The next model is like more expensive (+400€ ;) with a faster processor, but with 100 Gb HDD. So I think I buy the cheaper one :)

    I think it is overpriced, the processor is a low and old model.
    I personally wouldn't buy it.

    Good comparisons for S1 series are the Asus A8JS and G1 models. They have similar if not better components and usually cheaper prices...but you sacrifice some aesthetics and possibly questionable build quality (i.e. A8js)...
