Hi. I´m new to this forum and I have some doubts that I hope you can help me.
First of all, I would like to know whow is it possible to mute the system without using the fn+mute combination, since this depends on the software and I have to wait for windows to boot first so I can mute the system.
Secondly I would like to know a good product and cloth to clean my notebook, since the exterior piano black lid gets dirty easily and it scratches easily if I use a regular cloth.
    Thanks.

you can also try the iKlear cleaning products that are originally designed for Apple products, but I've used them on my S1 and it's great

for the mute, the only idea i can think of is to plug some earphones into the jack on the right side ... otherwise.. im all out of ideas =/

    Many thanks for you help.
Being myself someone that uses glasses, I don´t know why I dind´t think on using a glasses cloth! Hehe.
I will use my brothers LCD cleaner too (that is what brothers are for :) ). I hope that I can recover the shinny piano black look, instead of the actual "stained" look.
Regarding the mute, most notebooks have a hardware button that mutes the notebook right away, even if it is still booting. Maybe with the LG there is really no option for that.

Try car wax it works great to remove minor scratches and helps keep it from getting dirty. I use it on my C1

I have some minor scratches. What kind of wax and color do you use? And with what kind of cloth?
    Thanks.
