    Hi All,

Was wondering if anyone could lend a hand on an issue i'm having with my laptop. I thought it was suffering from the hibernation/power issue. If I recall I was shutting down when I closed the lid. I believe that it might be caught in shut down/hibernation?. I had removed the battery overnight, and replaced it with no success. It would look like it powers on for 3 seconds and then would turn off again.

I opened up the laptop, removed the keyboard, and the casing. I disconnected the CMOS battery for 10 minutes, and reconnected it. I put everything back in place, however now I'm getting different behavior. It seems that the minute i connect it to a power source (batter/docking station) the power light just flashes and nothing happens. Now I'm at a loss as I'm not sure what to do.

Did i make a mistake when putting things together again? Did I not do the CMOS part correctly?

If anyone could shed some light on this it'd be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

I read somewhere that LG doesn't post their service manuals

if the Power led is flashing, then maybe it's a connector problem.
I'd suggest visiting a lab, I had the power-connector replaced too many times.
(2 of them damaged the mother board)

    Thanks for the reply!

Do you know which one would be the power connector?
I'm assuming its the one that goes to the power button? ;)

in simple words, the power-connector is the external actual socket where you connect the power cord... :)
