    Hi,
My LG S1 just went back from the Lab. after they said there was no hardware problem, I decided to format & reinstall Vista.

I still have an issue of my screen going black every time I accidentally move the computer (or some1 moves the table).
occasionally the CPU fan goes crazy, but the computer always hangs...

any1 has an idea for fixing this?

Not sure but it sounds like there something lose in there…
I advice you to remove the keyboard and look at the LCD connection (the white strip on the top) it might be lose, try to remove it them insert it back, but be careful to unhook it first before pulling the strip …..

I just installed Vista Ultimate and every thing is fine except the BlueSoiel….

What was the reason that made you format your laptop, is it this problem?

I had no such problem with previous installations of Vista on the same machine.
as I mentioned the computer just came back from LG's Lab (part of it for this same reason). but after I reinstalled it seems to keep happening. this is way I don't think the connector is the actual problem (they checked that at the lab).
I rather not open the computer since it's still under its warranty...

any other ideas or tool to check the problem?
(btw, it could be anything else and not just the monitor itself)

    Did you upgrade your hardware?
    Did you drop your laptop?
    Are you using original Vista?
Did you install all the latest driver and windows updates?
    Did the problem occur suddenly?
What was the reason(s) you took it the service department?

    of course not... :)

    yes, of course!

yes, all drivers from LG's support site (verified by running Intelligent Update for Vista).
and yes Windows Updates (including Vista SP1).
same state as I always have (latest of everything)...

it started a few weeks ago, but due to other personal matters I could not pay attention to this.
I don't remember installing anything, and even if I did, it still happens after a fresh install (& full-format).

DVD-ROM replaced + white panel (of the touchpad) replace (which did didn't).
I took advantage of going to the lab & asked them to check this blackening case - after showing them the Bug Report from Windows BugChecker, they referred me to MS... :(
