I'm in need of a new laptop and I'm wanting to get something with the new t8/9000s on them but it's hard to find them in Canada (I really don't wanna ship over the border). I was hoping the Dell 1530s would get them in the next week or two but I don't think that'll happen. So, found this R700 on NCIX. Don't know much about it or LGs in general so i wanted opinions. Also wondering if the specs are right and there actually is a t8300 on it cause most r700s have t7500 and there is something mentioning Santa Rosa in there as well as the LG website.

I recently bought the R700-X.AP02A9, and yes, it has a T8300 CPU.

The newer model, R700-X.AP03A9, differs as follows:
    Slower CPU (T8100, 2.1GHz)
    Bigger HDD (320GB)
    More RAM (4GB)
