    hi,
I installed a dual boot operating system on my new LG laptop.
after the restart I cannot see "press F11 for LG recovery.." message.
googled all night for a solution to restore the MBR but I can't find a way
I still have the recovery partition.

anyone has any idea how to re-enable this?
maybe setup a new mbr, any lg software or something?

    thank you for any help.

    Anyway,
I finally used my recovery DVD to reinstall the system - BUT
for some reason it deleted my recovery partition.

I saw in LG SMART RECOVERY help that it created this partition in the first run. so I installed it but it won't give me the initial backup option.

how do I make it do this? anyone knows of a parameter or a way to make it run for the first time?
