    Hi guys
I have a lLG R405 for 2.5 years .since last week my battery shows 34% charge on the battery sign on screen which is start decrease gradually (1 % every two to three days) but the battery light on my laptop is off, I did different thing like uninstall ACPI adaptor and remove the battery and put it back again and some other trick which I found in other website, but NO result. Do you think my battery is dead, if so why it shows some charges or do I have any other way to fix it, Thanks

I'm having the same problem with my LGS1, and a problem with ATI X1600 driver where the driver that came with my laptop recovery keeps giving me error INF error video driver not found.
PS1: the driver file I'm using is the one on the original DVD, the same one I have been using since the first day i bought the laptop.
PS2: I downloaded the new updated driver from ATI website and the same problem exists.

    Thank you in advance.

2.5 years is a long time. Most batteries only hold 60% of their charge within a year, so by 2 years, the total charge should be about 36% max. It's a reality everyone lives with. My battery died last year, I've had my R405 for 3 years now. It still works wonderfully, but it must be tethered to a wall!
