    LG P430, P530 & P210 now available @ Future Shop!

    Was at my local Future Shop today in Toronto and spotted a couple LG's. They must have just arrived as they did not have any prices or any information. I would have myself in the store if it was the P330 :p

    This may be some good news for those who are waiting for the release of P330 in Canada. There was rumors that LG were not going to sell there laptop's in Canada anymore. I guess this is not the case! Take a look. They look excellent in person. Wished they would have snuck the 555m in one of these and I would have bought it today.

    Do you or anyone else here think they can take pics and comment on P210 and P430 screen quality? Thanks.

    Wait is that right, the P210 is using the first gen i Core cpus?

    The screen looked really nice actually. I really liked how they made it go right to the edge not like the Sony ones

    I get that(been show in the demo models when announced), but I was asking about the actual quality, i.e. viewing angles, clarity, and so forth. Thanks.

    The bar is set. Any new laptop that doesn't have this kind of slim bezel is an automatically-no-purchase for me!

    Just saw these things at futureshop... the screen and bezel are amazing! Though the top bezel is actually a bit bigger than in that picture to fit the webcam. I think I may have to get one of these. But I also wanna wait for the p330 haha.

    The P340 is crazy. We have it at the futureshop where I work and I fell in love.
    Sadly it is freaking expensive for a i5 D:

    Can you comment on the screen quality please? Does it have good viewing angles, high brightness and good colors?

    Yes, the screen is one of the best aspect of the laptop, it is very very thin, the colours are bright and crisps. I did not have the chance to test the viewing angles. I'll come back to you about it tomorrow after my shift.

    Yeah unfortunately the price of the P330 is going to have to be $1500 :mad:

    Maybe its an anti-glare coated screen? Could you also maybe take a look at the P210 and comment on its screen also?

    Sadly we only have the P340 at the moment, I tested the viewing angles and it did very well, 178 degrees seems like a good guess.

    Well I just read that the P220(SB update to the P210) comes with an IPS display. Maybe the P210 also has an IPS display. If not, I may have to just wait for the P220 then.

    at least there is a store selling the LG laptop in Canada. when I google lg p430 in US, I cant even find a store selling these.
    ofcouse my interest is in P330, assume this future shop do sell it, does it ship to US thou?

    On another note, checked my local futureshop, they don't have the LG P430 or P210 yet. Probably only the big stores in major cities are stocking them right now.

    ok, if the P330 has the right price and spec, I might just drive up to canada for a 3 days vacation, and pick up a laptop. hopfully custom wont get it away ;)
