    Hi there!

I installed Win 7 64bit on my P300-ABMAG and now have a problem. The battery symbol down on the right side says: I should change the battery (sorry i am German, so i don't know the excact message in english). On Viste there was no such problem. Any one have the same problem and perhaps solved it?

    Greetings Scoo

I have the same message with Win 7 x64 on my P300. I got the same message when I ran Win 2008 R2 x64...probably the same codebase.

It seems like a driver problem to me. I think the battery is fine.

if that would be the only thing, noone should worry. but pleasem everyone getting this message: try to estiamte your battery time over 2-3 complete cycles.

in my opionion, I have LESS battery time than on XP (less than 2h vs more than 3h). if someone could check this with his laptop we can get a more reliable data basis. then proceed with that:

    Hi

I also have the same problem with my 5920G. It shows that I should replace the battery and this message comes all of the time. In the Acer-Userforum.de they say that it would be fixed with a bios update.
