    LG P300 External DVD Drive..What model?

    What is the model no. of the external DVD drive? Does anyone know if I can buy one separately anywhere? Any reviews? Does it use one USB or two USB for power?

    nobody knows? Can P300 owners take one minute and look underneath the drive and report here?

    Anyone here would like to sell their P300 external drive?

    Good luck, I don't know of anyone who'd sell it. You might try contacting LG Canada and say the CD Rom for your LG A1 got stolen. The A1 and C1 include the same drive. LG do sell an external that's almost identical but a BIT thicker called the GSA-E50L. I found 'em at best buy for $90 which was either a sale or a mistake.. Everyplace else I've ever seen 'em (at Fry's, Online) theyve been over $110.

    The LG drive that is included with the P300 (and I think the new P100) is SKU meant only for these laptops, I don't think LG sells them separately. It uses only one port for power. They are beautiful drives though.
