hi everybody!i want to format my p1 laptop (which has windows vista home pre-installed from LG) and i have a problem with the recovery dvd-disk.
when i insert the dvd it a window opens and i cannot run LG Recovery Center. Is there any specific way to do the installation of Windows?
P.S: I want to erase all the data from the HDD and re-install all the programs.I would rather like not to do a back-up,just re-install windows.

    Hi beatman,

The best way to do this is NOT to use the recovery disk. Just grab a clean copy of the Windows install CD and then instruct the setup program to format your harddisk. That will wipe out everything and make sure you don't have any old clutter in your laptop.
