Finally after many delays and re-scheduled shipping dates the P100 has been released in Australia!

I ordered today and was told to expect it in a couple of days.

Please do a review and let us know how the ULV 1.33GHz CPU is and also if the GPU is indeed 8000-series.

It has the G version not the GS version. Which has half the stream processors.

Still it is impressive they managed to put dedicated graphics into the machine. Its got an intel x3100 as well. Does it run in some sort of hybrid mode?

I am having trouble now deciding between the LG X100 (its the non-tablet version of the P100) or getting a P300. I am leaning towards the P300 but I have no where to buy it from, while I can order the X100 from an Aus shop who is willing to ship to NZ.

Whats the pricing like down under on the P100? I would be interested in your thoughts after you have set up the unit.

I have not seen the X100, but the P300 is pretty impressive with the LED backlit screen

Typing this on my P100 :)

I will certainly do a review once i've had a real play with it. So far I can tell it's a very fast machine. Vista experience index shows 3.8 which is a lot faster than my P1610.

I have one teaser unboxing pic but can't seem to link it - it's here for the moment.

Wow my LG C1 shows 3.1. That's about 20% more.

My first look review is coming but until then I've done two benchmarks. Vista experience index on the LG P100 - 3.8. (can't seem to get screengrabs to appear on the forum - I've put a pic up on my blog) - http://bp1.blogger.com/_E4BLFHZdEoc/R-Sp94YQ0RI/AAAAAAAAAD0/nkU_qqSXlWE/s1600-h/experindex.jpg

Super Pi: 1 min 38 seconds - compare to the table below:

Time to Calculate Pi to 2 Million Digits
    LG P100 (1.33GHz Core 2 Duo)
    1m 38s
LG C1 (1.2GHz Intel Core Duo)
    1m 49s
Toshiba R400 (1.2GHz ULV Core Duo)
    2m 10s
    Asus R1F (1.66GHz Core Duo)
    1m 20s
Lenovo ThinkPad X60t (1.66GHz LV Core Duo)

What are all the scores from your WEI? Surprsingly the P100 is showing 3.8 as the lowest score under one the graphics sections (not 3D though). It's getting some good high 4 scores elsewhere.

I ran PCMark05 (downloaded the free one) and it gave me this figure: 2,542
which seems low. The last comparo I saw had the C1 higher. I might be doing something wrong :)

Sorry for not answering right away but I was installing vista sp1. I didn't keep a photo of pre sp1 subscores but this is the current score. This is a clean vista install, sp1 afterwards.
For C1 owner's info I used all the updates for P100 in LG's support site and they work for my C1 too (I used only intel's chipset driver utility since C1 uses the 945PM).
