    It finnaly looks like Canadians get the better end of the deal for once in the notebook world... It seems LG Electronics has gone full out with their notebook line here ( http://www.lg.ca/xnote/ ) , while they still don't offer them at all in the USA.

    I read somewhere that it might have something to do with some contract of their manufactuering thinkpads for ibm and as a result not being able to sell in the usa.. but that's just something i read, no clue how true it may or may not be

    Anyway, if you are in canada - take a look at these! Great looking machines, nice high res, loooooooooong battery life, light, thin, simple and elegant design...

    i think my search is finnaly over :D

    LG makes some very nice hardware, even outside of notebooks. They've started marketing pretty hard in the US, so we might see more availability here soon.

    Those are some very nice machines. I really like their look, their form factor, and their performance. It is great to see companies pushing the boundaries and bringing these machines to market. Thanks for sharing the link.

    I like them, even the big performance notebooks look sleek and slim. Yea i wouldnt be suprised if they hit the states.

    Inspiron 9100- 3.2ghz P4 HT - 1gb RAM - 100GB HD - 4x dvd/cd burner -128mb ATI 9700. Too Much Computer for Such a n00b!

    i also like how it has the printer port in the back, i am having problems getting my computer to recognize my printer right now because of the USB.... CSpwntsYOU hates usb.
