    I purchased my LG 65W 2 weeks ago, I love it :) .
I spent weeks researching for a laptop that would suit my gaming needs and also to replace my desktop. This one does it, and for a reasonable price. The unit is very quiet, plays Counter strike source no problems and is giving me better FPS compared to my desktop.
Battery life from the standard 6 cell is around 3 1/2 hours with default display and system setting + one brightness for me. Mind you that is standard web browsing and system saves, pics and words docs etc.
I paid $2750 with the 3 year warranty and shipping from Adelaide (I live in N.T) 12 months interest free from my mate in the local Harvey Norman there. Prices up here in the N.T suck the big one. Sorry, I live in the Northern Territory (Australia)
The LG rocks and I love it. I will never look back.
*Must disable the standard Wireless utitlity if using wireless network. Mine kept dropping out. I installed the intel (network card manuafacturer) wireless utility and it works a treat. (PM me for more info).
I will write a review sometime in the next day or so.

Anyone know what kinda competition the lw65 is up against ? I'm wondering how well this thing compares to the ever-popular z70va.

I have spent the past couple of days writing a review on this laptop, hopefully I will have it finished tomorrow and then submit it. So stay tuned. Keep in mind this is the LG 65W-R4ZA I am reviewing - the Australian version.

Does anyone have info. or experience with this notebook?(lw65) Theres also 2 that are very similar lw65-RDZA and lw65-R4ZA. Does anyone know the differences and as asked b4 by WuHT, how this notebook compares with others in its class?

I wish i could write a review. Im' a notebook newbie so whatever i say is pretty much covered by the MANY other v6va reviews.

Just wondering : was there a good price drop on the lw65 due to the new duo core LG's being pushed ?
