LG LS50a help needed asap..

im buying an lg ls50a off ebay for my brothers bday as a suprise but the lid has alot of scratches , anyone know where i can buy another lid, (im in australia, sydney but dont mind shopping over seas)

also can use the lid of another lg laptop, they look the same to me...?

please help soon birthday is very close

You might check into something like this, which is easier than replacing the lid as long as there aren't any deep gouges. I just searched for "scratch removal kit" on Google, try something similar and I'm sure you'll find something nearby you can get.

 

Don't try to put another Lid on to a different laptop, it's best to call LG about it if you want to do something like that.

Also, as Pitabred mentioned, use something to remove the scratches or just use a sticker, or a panel that can be used to cover the Lid.

You can have a Lid with basicaly any design for like 10$ and it is great way to also protect the lid.

There have been some reviews about this stuff too, check out the modification section on the forums.

 

im hoping you could help me,i also have a lg xnote ls50a just like yours,my friend just gave this laptop to me couple of weeks ago,the problem is theres no audio or sound,i call my friend of mine regarding about my problem,and he just told me to find a sound or audio driver for this particular laptop,but i could not find nor my friends could not find audio driver for my notebook,maybe you can send me a audio driver for my lg xnote LS50a,my e-mail address [email protected]

and hit search.

will give you all the drivers you need. Soundmax is the sound driver.
