    LG Gram 14z990 notebook fan control?

    Hello guys,

    I have this laptop and what bothers me the most is that it gets pretty hote, around 85 celsius, and it's difficult for the fan to be full power.


    Is there any config for Notebook Fan Control that can set the fan at maximum speed?

    I tried the one for LG Gram 17 with no luck, it worked for some minutes but then it stopped working, and then it works again. Weird. And i believe it didnt get it to the max, just maybe 80%

    I've also tried to play a little with fan control; without success though. Instead, I've disabled CPU Turbo Boost Clock in Windows power plan settings and it seems to bring no major performance loss in games - I could still play AC:Syndicate on 40 FPS+ (well, with a hiccup or two from time to time) and temps were ~70C.
    OT: Once I had to wipe my hard drive due to virus and it's pain in the neck to reinstall everything from LG. Since then I can't get touchpad LED to work properly and by that I mean the light is on regardless of whether touchpad is enabled or not. I've tried driver reinstall, LG OSD3, Control Center cant fix that. Have anyone had the same problem?

    Notebooks with 15W Intel CPUs almost without exception have horrible thermal behavior, reaching maximum temperature under CPU load and then thermal throttling. Use ThrottleStop to undervolt (if possible) and reign in the short/long turbo power limits. You also might want to do a thermal repaste. I have done this with my laptop and temps, even under sustained load, don't go out of the lower 80 degree C range.
