    LG E500 TV connection

    Can any one help me, ive tried connecting my E500 to my tv with the S-Video connection.

    but nothing ever comes up on the tv. if i connect my desktop with the same cables it works with out any issues.

    is there a setting i need to activate or a key combo i need to press or new drivers or something... Help

    Its pretty annoying, my desktop works with no issue, the notebook should aswell. i heard of a keycombo (fn + f5) but that was for a toshiba notebook.

    on my S1 it shows (fn+f7) to switch .....

    ill give it a try... there is a little sqaure picture on on of the f keys, next to the one to switch off the touch pad... what does that do? it makes the screen flash and then goes back to normal... thanks for the suggestion ill try it when i next can plug my laptop into a tv...

    can do that, will take one as soon as i can... if im not mistaken (not with my laptop at the moment) the f7 button is for the brightness of the display or the sound, so fn + f7 might not be the answer, tried pressing all the buttons but didnt seem to work, the only button that doesnt do anything is the one with the little square on it

    (Fn+ up/down arrows) controls the brightness on my S1...

    Did you try going thru the LG E500 manual? Mine helped me a lot …
