Hi, I was planning to buy an LG E300 laptop but I want to upgrade it to 2GB of RAM. The E300 model I'm after is the older one which is only 1GB. I was wondering if changing the RAM would result in a void of warrenty.

If anyone knows more about this, I'd be glad to hear from you. :)

I am pretty sure changing minor components such as Ram will not void the warranty. Things such as changing the CPU or motherboard though will void the warranty.

Changing/upgrading RAM doesn't void your warranty with this laptop.
In fact, my E300 (which came with 2 gigs) had a shortcut to the User's Manual on the desktop, and one of the things in there is how to change the RAM, what ram to get, etc...
