Is it my P300, Firefox, Vista or me?

I just got a P300. I'm using Firefox, because it works well with my other machine (a Mac). But it seems that when I'm connected to a wireless network the p300 keeps hanging, and the only apparent resolution is to do a force quit and reboot the computer.

It seems to have nothing to do with signal strength insofar as my home network has a considerable range but the computer will hang even if I'm using it three feet from the router.

Anyone out there been through this one?

I'm using high-speed at home, and in any case it's happened on every network I've used. And it's not just that the page won't load... nor does it happen only when I'm loading pages. I may be reading a page which has already loaded when for no apparent reason the screen fades to white and I can't navigate away to another page or another program. The entire computer freezes up. Of course, with Windows XP when a program froze up I could invoke CTRL+ALT+DEL to shut the program down. But with Vista I can't figure out how to shut down a non-responding program other than turning off the machine entirely.
