The LG X300 has a very nice form factor and build quality, but I find it to be very sluggish. I suspect this is because of the relatively small 1GB RAM, so I'm looking for any way to add another 1GB RAM to max out the specs there.

Can anyone help point me to where I can find a way to do that myself?

    Thanks.

Memory is integrated in this Machine and cannot be upgraded. That is one cost of slim size. Suggest you replace any resource intensive virus program with something lighter, remove unwanted programes and themes and switch the battery management setting to best performance. But it is a netbook so don't expect too much.

Hi there, i am buying a used LG X300 for USD$250 and i wish to know more about this netbook. Can you pm me the pros and cons of this netbook and if 1GB RAM is too little, as this is non-upgradable. Do u tink it's worth to pay that amount for this netbook which is almost 2 yrs old?

Or if u know any ways to upgrade the RAM or HDD, kindly let me know.

    Thanks.
