I really hate laptops now, cuz this is the 2nd time I get overheat problems, (first one was with Toshiba laptop)

My laptop (LW70) shuts down when the cpu`s temperature get very high, i wonder why it gets so high? and what can i do to cool it down?

i know that itÂ’s the problem because when i rest it for 5-6 hours it works fine but no for so long...

i really thought CENTRINO will actually prevent something like this!

i used the vacuum on the fan to make it spin manually, hmmm it actually started to work after that, and the temperature is now 46C, i can hear the fan spinning really hard to cool the cpu down..

Never thought i can fix computers with vacuums...

Are you running "LG IP OPERATOR"?
I found that when i installed the ip operator software that came with the LG sofware bundle my CPU would run at 100% (TASK BAR GRAPH) constantly and after uninstalling ip operator, the computer cooled down dramatically.
