    Has anyone been able to get the fingerprint reader working in Linux? I have a 17Z990. Thanks.

    Thanks. My reader doesn't show under "lsusb", does yours? We appear to have the same model, if slightly different configurations.

    It appears my distro doesn't support fingerprint readers. Thanks for the link -- there's also a good tlp discussion.

    Just to update, the Goodix fingerprint device on my Gram 17 (17Z990-R.AAS8U1) isn't recognized.
