This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The LW-40 (X600 version) went on sale from NCIX. $1099 CDN, down about $50; I was about to order and had one at the old price in my cart and then they put it on sale!

    It's not the sexiest most powerful laptop, but I can't afford that right now :) It is a nice step up from what I have now though, and I'll add in another 512mb of ram when I've got a bit more money.

    It came on Tuesday. Having fun with the keyboard layout lol.

    Ctrl and FN are in the opposite place (FN is outside, CTRL is inside) than they are on my other machine and I keep mixing them up.
