    Hi everyone,

I have recently bought a LG E500-SP23P and when using it with the battery as its power source, despite having a massive ammount of battery, it suddenly suspends or turns off!

I couldn't even get in Vista with 40% battery left which should last me for about 1 hour - wth?

It doesn't matter what I'm doing - I can be just moving the mouse around the desktop, watching a DVD or video or playing a game - it WILL go down.

Is this a windows/bios/power management issue? Can someone please help?

It NEVER happens when it's plugged in, I've tried endless combinations in the Power Management setup but I can't seem to avoid this.

All the input is much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Looks to me like a HW issue. The MB will read a false battery information and will trigger the system suspend by error. Have you timed it?

I've had a similar problem with my P1, try to disable the bios option "Deeper sleep (C4)" and then run on battery mode to see what happens.
