Unfortunately, I will use that above post as a reference but that description does sound like the problem I have.

I just got this e300, and even with a fresh copy of Vista it seems to bluescreen randomly all the time. I asked a friend of mine and he says it looks like it has something to do with the graphics chipset. So after a while, Windows Update shows up with 'Lenovo - Display - ThinkPad Display 1280x800', and this LCD profile seems to have fixed the random crashing issue.

But now if I use a program like Photoshop Elements, it come up with an error message that says 'the monitor profile Lenovo Thinkpad LCD Monitor' appears to be defective which I am not surprised, I mean this is a LG laptop...

But the program runs fine, should I find the actual LCD profile or should I just keep this one as it fixes the BSOD?
