    Hi all.

I just bought a LW65 express (great laptop).
I have some question about driver updates.

I can't seem to use the latest drivers from ATI i can only use the drivers that LG supply from there update site. If i download the latest catalyst drivers it says that my laptop is not compatable with them, even though i am running a x700 card. Is this something that LG have done. I would really like to get more up to date drivers as the ones on LG's sit are like 8mths old

Also is it worth going to like intel ect to download the latest drivers or again am i just best to stick to the ones on LG's update site.

    Thanks for any assistance.

    Travis

For graphics try Omega at www.omegadrivers.net, maybe they will work. Otherwise, if everything works well in your laptop there really is no reason to update anything right away. If you absolutely must do so then I would stick to the LG site.

Hi, I've also got an LG LW65. The default drivers seem to be ok and work fine. However I updated my graphics drivers and the intel wireless drivers.

For graphics, im using the ones from www.omegadrivers.net (6.3 version, the 6.5 doesnt work with mine for some reason)

For the wireless card, im using intels software and drivers. I may be blind but I couldnt find certain security options using LG's IP operator. (couldnt find where to set WPA security, all I could find was no security and WEP)

    Hope that helps.
