I installed VISTA on my P1 Pro that came orignally with Windows XP. It has the Realtek HD 5.1 Audio (Lastest drivers from LG) but I can't seem to turn that dam annoying red light or LED off. Its like a red beam shining out from the Digital Out(there are 3 connections). Anyone knows if this is normal?

The optical output LED should be shut off unless a 3.5mm optical plug is inserted. Try disabling the Realtek Digital Output in the Playback section of your sound properties page. Usually when you disable an S/PDIF output the LED emitter should turn off.
