    DVD Player: Playing foreign DVDs

    Hi, I am interested in importing some japanese DVDs.
    However I have heard and read that North American DVD players
    are capable of playing region 1 DVDs, and japanese DVDs are
    in region 2. There are also non-multiregoinal players that
    can play both. Not sure how accurate my info is.

    My question would be: Can my LM-40 play those japanese DVDs
    as well?
