so i did the 'ol super pi test on my P1 and found that it scored 2.15 for 2M.. so i discover the post about Battery Miser throttling the CPU even tho it still shows the CPU running at 2GHz.. the fix was to install the version that came with the factory CD's... instead i decided to install the current revision that is on the LG website which is 4.0106.0210 (which means feb 10, 2006) and then i ran super pi and i scored a 1.15 this time around... the only thing is the version i scored 2.15 on was a new revision than the one that is on the LG site.. i vaguely remember downloading the newest drivers from LG at the time when i bought my P1 which was March 29th, 2006 so i was wondering how i ended up getting the newest build than the current one listed? and has anyone had any problems with the latest revision of 0210?

hmmm.. thats strange... when i go to the LG site and search for P1 drivers, it only lists the 0210 revision for my P1.. the 0929 revision is for the W1's

yah i was using that version as well before but i was having some issues with my fan control so i got the one from intelligent update and it fixed it. It's strange, i guess LG has been lazy at listing the details for their website because so far the 0929 version is working great for me.

Take the unit back where you bought it and ask them to change the battery with one of theirs and see if you get the same problem sounds like the battery.
