    Hi guys,

Am a noob in every sense of the word. So please excuse what is bound to be pretty dumb questions.

But ok, so now I can't start the laptop because the sliding power button is loose and isn't triggering the mechanism inside to start up the computer anymore. Called the service centre, and they told me to use a paperclip over the empty slot of the power button to switch it on. But I've been sticking paperclips/an ice cream stick in to try and trigger it but IT JUST WON'T SWITCH ON?!?!?! It doesn't help that I have no idea WHAT exactly I'm trying to trigger.

    HELP???????

    TIA!
