I bought the Gram 17 from Costco a week ago and everything works fine so far. I also bought a Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R5CB6HY) with 1x ethernet, 2xUSB and 2xHDMI.

The dock works fine when it works, but the LG seems having some trouble to recognize the dock reliably. Often the HDMI and/or the USB ports on the dock would not work after laptop wakes from sleep. Reboot or cycling laptop through hibernation/wake up solves the HDMI problem, but the USB ports can still fail to work properly. Ethernet port always works, even when the other ports are not working.

Is it b/c the dock is not fully compatible with the LG? If so I'd love to know which USB-C/TB dock you guys would recommend. I only need Ethernet, USB, HDMI or DP (but must be able to do 4K @60Hz).

I have been using the Toshiba Thunderbolt dock for some time with no issues at all with my Gram 15Z980. Ethernet, HDMI, DIsplayport. Now I use it daisychained to my eGPU

I use the Totu TB3 docking station, model TT-DC001A. It appears to work quite well. The only problem when plugging the laptop back in is the LG OnScreen Control software for its external monitor.
