    In my LG, vista home,
I had changed the plan to control panel / power options / power saver.
To save battery life it quits charging at 50% level.

Changing the settings back to /balanced or /high perfrormance does not help.

Where is this f**ng option to fully charge the battery??

    thanks

    Blayvas, try this...
Open Battery Miser. There are 3 settins across the top. "Profile', 'Other Settings' and 'Information'. Select 'other settings'. You have 2 options. Battery Charging Mode and Battery Charging Stop Percentage. Select the second one. You may have 2 or 3 options. Mine has 3. 50% (Safety Mode) and Standard Mode. Mine also has Max Mode. Select Standard mode.

    Hope this works.

There's also a similar setting in the BIOS. I noticed that my A1 battery will only charge to 97%. I'm curious as to whether that's a problem with the notebook or whether LG is simply reporting more accurate battery charge state than other notebooks. I've never seen such charging options before.
