I picked one up yesterday and was thinking of doing a clean install of Vista Ultimate. Are all the drivers on the CD that comes with it? LG doesn't seem to have many on their website.

I cleared and removed the HD partitions at the very first boot, and installed vista ultimate instead of using the one that came with it, no problems there. and yes the drivers are all on the cd.

OK great, can you just pop in the cd with the drivers and you can select the ones to install or how does it work?

How did you do that, did you just pop in the CD and manually select the drivers you wanted to install? Which ones did you have to install manually?

What you want to do is do the clean install, then drop the drivers CD in (on the German P300 there's two sets of CDs, one is drivers and restore for XP, one is for Vista. The higher # revision drivers CD was for Vista but it wasn't labelled as such).

From the drivers CD, install LG Update. You then manually install all the drivers and apps through that. It'll check and see if updated drivers/apps are available and handle installation. This allows you to go down the list and ensure you didn't miss anything as well as making sure you have the latest revisions.
