    Hi there ,

    I just ordered one today hopefully be here end of next week. I searched long and hard and for the price could not see a better alterantive. Only concerns on this unit were not 15.4 (no Biggie) , slow HD (4200 I assume cannot find any specs) and older video card (ATI Mobility 9200 64mb).

    Review from this site mostly are postive - but was curious if anyhere here owns this model ?

    btw - I am comming off a 4 year old Dell C800 pIII 850 sooo it should be sweet. Also will likley upgrade the HD to 7200 at some point - anybody does this (saw one post about this but no definitive answer)

    LG offers a 15.4" model now.. see the thread titled "New Notebooks"
    they also have the ATI X600 PCIX card, I'm unsure about the HD speed on the new ones though

    All of the new notebooks' HD's are 5400RPM.

    Yeah the trouble is the 15.4 is WXGA resolution - I "need" min SXGA or WSXGA. The 17 inch mode has WSXGA but a bit big (maybe not !). Thanks for the HD speed info, that is a bonus.
