    Hi, guys!

    I'm really happy with my LG S1!

    BUT! I would be the happiest man in the world if I enable PowerPlay for notebook's videocard (Mobility Radeon X1600).

    You see, LG is not listed as supported notebook manufacturer on ATI site, so PowerPlay option is disabled. I don't like the fact that my video card runs at full speed when I editing my Word document or reading PDF for example.

    So, guys, have anybody found any solution for this issue? Thank in advance!

    Hi!
    Ive also just bought this laptop. And thus have the excatly same problem. Also I wouldnt mind if I could get rid of some of the noise. Its not that its very loud, but Im used to a Dell Inspiron 8600 which dont make any noise, except under heavy load, at all.
    Maybe its is the fan for the graphics card thats always on, and so a Powerplay option enabled would do the trick ;). Have you tried other drivers than the ones supplied by LG?

    Oh Btw;
    I Use NHC(NotebookHardwareControl) where the option to active powerplay is also grayed out. Although the program also gives the option to state user defined clock sequences, meaning that you can manually set the freqency on your graphics card, either lower og higher. If everything else fails ;)
