This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Considering purchasing a Lenovo Y50 - 59442858 FHD IPS Touch from Best Buy today, for a very good price (sub $700) - but have read numerous threads about the left LCD hinge busting apart. Was this ever resolved in later models, or is this still a persistent issue? Seems like a great deal for my limited budget, but don't want the hassle at any price if this is still ongoing with newer produced models.
