Hi,
I bought a T440p a few days ago and it will take approx 4 weeks to be delivered. I think I made a bad choice and I should probably have gone with the T440s instead to have something more portable. So I'm thinking about selling the T440p when I will receive it. I cannot exchange it as I bought from my school and not from Lenovo directly (and exchanges are not possible at my school).
This laptop was sold with an On-site warranty (next day) and I'd like to know if it's possible to transfer this warranty to the new owner. How should I proceed, should I contact Lenovo with the new owner's address?
By the way, if you're in Switzerland and are interested in a brand new, sealed, T440p with 1x8Gb RAM, 256Gb SSD, i7 4700QM, FHD IPS display, Nvidia 730M, 9 cells battery and Swiss french keyboard, let me know (delivery probably beginning of April)

Yes, the warranty follows the machine, not the owner.
No need to call Lenovo either. There is no "transfer" of anything involved.lead_org likes this. -
Is the Lenovo On site warranty transferable to a new owner?
