I am a light gamer and mostly download Hulu movies. Along with internet and light word processsing. Maybe I play wow thats it.

Would a Lenovo be ok for me because everyone says that they"are for business people". I was attracted to the comuter by its build quality and reputation for excellent service. I have had some other commerical brand but they allways broke, and their service was not good including Apple.
I mean I dont have time to go down to the apple store, for repairs aND TALK TO A GENIUS
Would I be out of place with lets say an x2010r x301?
Are they really only for Business people?

x201 would be perfect for you!
-
The X201 is an excellent notebook, though I don't know how much of a gamer it is.

An X301 seems to be right for you

they are business laptops meaning they are easy to repair, highly durable, have interchangeable parts with many other models.....
I am no business man, so it is not just a business man only laptop. But due to the price they use to sell at, most people whom purchases Thinkpads are businessman and professionals or by corporation/business. Now the Thinkpads have dropped in price, most people can afford it.
X201 is a great little machine. -
ThinkPads may be business grade but they're certainly not reserved for just business people. Pretty much anyone can have a ThinkPad, otherwise I certainly wouldn't fit this criteria at all!
It's all just brand perception really, though the fact that its associated as a Thinking Man's business laptop is not necessarily a bad thing. It could be worse, Dell's usually stir up the negative "Oh dude...you bought a DELL!" conversation among some of my friends even though I don't have any real beef with them myself - not saying I owned a Dell lappy personally as i've been a happy TP user instead!
I would also vote for the X201 due to the better specs than the X301 which can help on the HD vids and certain games, though respectively both are great machines to have. -
Dell Latitude laptops are okay as bread and butter laptop, but nothing much than that.... Dell's laptop design is not consistent...

I have to agree with everything that's said here. I buy thinkpads because they make a good high performance machines. I personally don't like business or "business computers" which sound limited to me.
