    Is it worth upgrading to 9cell from 6cell battery?

    My T43 currently has a 6 cell battery. Would it be worth the upgrade to go for the 9 cell battery? I can get a genuine IBM 9 cell on Ebay for around $80

    I hardly notice mine plus you get 50% more battery life. I gues it would depend on if you are running out of time on the six cell.

    My 9 cell seems adds a lot of weight to mine. I'm thinking my first upgrade may be a 6 cell battery.

    I'll probably get the 9 Cell battery and use both. For long flights and long periods away from power I will use the 9 cell.

    I bought a genuine IBM 9-Cell factory sealed thinkpad battery for $72.00 with shipping minus my $6 Ebay coupon, for a grand total of $66.00. I'm quite pleased considering most 9-cell batteries are going for between $80-$100 with shipping currently.

    I will still use both batteries, but the 9-cell will come in handy on long airplane rides.

    Just got my genuine IBM 9 Celll battery from Ebay. It was in a sealed IBM box with the IBM sticker. Only cost me $66 with shipping.
