I am very tempted to overclock using SETFSB (Automaticly does everything for you, only for select proccesors). Link
Seeing as I don't need to test anything, it should be safe right? Will it lower down the life of my proccesor?
Will I see performance gains?
-
No.
It will decrease the life of the processor, and make it run hotter/louder. You will see some performance increase, but is it really worth it? -
Overclooking, even if done correctly will shorten the life of your computer. I suggest buying more RAM instead. Adding more RAM will speed up your computer without damaging it. Plus! it is very easy to do.

If you don't know much about overclocking and don't specifically have any experience with it, I would not do it on a notebook. Notebooks have very specific cooling tolerances given then size...if you want to play around with overclocking, do it on a desktop with proper cooling.

He"s right you know?
