I clean installed and opted out not to install Power Manager (installed only the driver) and High Performance is the highest setting I can set it to.
Is there a way to set it at Maximum Performance setting w/o installing the Power Manager?
Thanks!

why didn't you want to install Thinkvantage Power Manager? The software is much better than the windows native power management system.

igfxexe.com and igfxsrvc.exe are starting with boot after I installed the Power Manager.
I looked it up on Google and it says these are Intel based network hardware and says these are non-essential but I can't find a way to disable them (looked it up on msconfig, Services, CCleaner, and Revo Uninstaller Pro).
Is there a way to disable these two processes? -
anyway, these driver/service consume very little of memory, in my machine, it about 1.5MB each, so, let me ask you, why so serious? -

For my situation I like the Lenovo Power Manager. The control over battery charging thresholds are what make it a keeper!

I just like to keep it as little programs running as possible -
If you have a Thinkpad with more battery life than you need on a daily basis, battery threshold control far out weighs a few megabytes of RAM (the most overrated spec of computers today).
But otherwise I don't think 'Maximum Performance' does anything but change a few timers, so you're not missing anything -
You're going to avoid a great utility over two small processes, seriously?
Is it possible to set battery setting at Maximum Performance w/o Power Manager?
