    Is it possible to buy extended warranty and thinkpad protection for the x201?

    The Lenovo website doesn't offer me this option when I configure the unit. I'd also like to buy it with the 4cell battery, not the six, but that's not offered either.

    Yes you may extend warranty coverage at any time your ThinkPad is under warranty, but accidental must be purchased within the first 30 days.
