Tell me please what is the right place to buy a new T42 for the good price?
I will not benefit from the warranty because I will use it in Ukraine where I think it would be very hard to find an IBM service center.
What do You think about buying from the ebay retailors such as thinkpadworld?
Here are some examples:

Thank You very much in advance!

Max.

If they have good feedback, there's no reason to avoid them. If you're worried about it, see if they'll accept payment via escrow.

Besides lots of good feedback, someone who has sold notebooks in the past is a good idea.

I bought my T42 off eBay last year. Just be patience and wait for the good deal. Also be sure to buy it from high feedback seller. Good luck!

My take on this is that some of the links you posted are for factory refurbished machines with 1 year IBM/Lenovo warranty. The problem with this is that this warranty can not be extended.
Is it good idea to buy IBM T42 on ebay.com?
