I read this card uses Atheros AR5008 chipset. Wondering how the performance and range is. Anyone running it?

I tired to get this placed in my order when I called Lenovo. They said it was not available for the T series at this time, only for the Z series. So, I don't know how to get it placed in my order?

I have it in my T60. Have not used the n class capabilities. Works fine for me. I don't really know how to test wireless cards, it either works or doesn't.

You might want to try just calling a different rep.. I noticed that lenovo had the option on the website for a weekend and then took down the n wireless again. My rep was able to have it added to my T60

I am using it as I post this, actually. It works fine. I had a few problems with my adapter not reconnecting after standby mode, but I resolved this by driver update, BIOS update, and I turned off the PowerSave option on the adapter. Not sure which of these actually resolved it, but all three needed to be done anyway. I am connecting to my router at 300 mbps (which is the maximum for 802.11n), as opposed to 54 mbps (which is what you would get using 802.11a or 802.11g).

I recommend this upgrade, I believe it's well worth it.
