    Hi,

I made my t61 order online on 5/14. Not soon afterwords (5/16) I tried to cancel this order after realizing the screen wasn't placed symmetrically, and subsequently several times, twice via the email they provided in the email, and once via phone. However, when I check the url in my email, the status is still "in progress" with an estimated shipping date of 6/18. I did not recieve any confirmation email in regards to my cancelling both times I've emailed them.

As I type I have been on the phone on hold for the last 25 minutes to confirm the cancellation for the last time. I think this is completely unacceptable. Now that I think about it, I am very glad I will not be Lenovo's customer.

Anyone else having a similar experience?

    Hook, line, and sinker...

Just kidding...keep calling them, and don't be afraid to contact your credit card company to prevent Levono from "accidentally" shipping your order and charging for it.

yeah they are pretty bad at emails, although I did get a reply like 5 days later.

as far as calling goes, I had to wait 30 min at 9am when they opened (which was 3am for me)

I was on hold for 30 minutes but after that it was about a two minute conversation and my order showed up canceled on the website about an hour later. Good luck.

i talked to a salesman today, and he said that the phone line queues are in the hundreds, and that it's never been like this before.

he said that the system is barely able to support it.

canceled an hour after you called? You are lucky. I called them in the morning to cancel my order. They told me they might cancel it after one or two business days. BTW, I was on hold for nearly an hour.

On one side of the world people are worrying not being able to get their order cancelled; on the other side, people are worrying not being able to get their order shipped... like me... :(

Why don't you guys send e-mail to cancel your order? That's how I got mine done........but I called anyway because I didn't receive confirmation. The rep told me that it was canceled before I called.

The two sides are how people react differently to the same thing-lenovo doesn't have the computers displayed on the website and they don't even respond to their customers.
