I have some "smudge" on my screen that is not dead pixels, but other than that I have no idea what it is, I have tried to record a video of it where you can see the 2 areas that are affected (Are mostly visible when the white background is there) Youtube Link could it be pressure damage?
I want to sell the pc and get something smaller, but if I can get the screen replaced before a sell that would of course be nice

I believe I had the same problem as you and in the same area although not as bad.

I sent it in for a screen replacement and they did a bad job installing it and made things worse (read my follow up post later in the thread)
I sent it back again (this time for a replacement) and after 2 weeks of trying to get them to give me a replacement order number I finally got one and I am currently waiting for my replacement laptop to ship...
I bought it like June 4th and still haven't used it yet...
Personally I would return and buy a new one unless you have onsite warranty as it takes a looong time for them to process a replacement and they depot repairs seems pretty bad.
Not sure if they charge a restocking fee but I would probably try to talk them out of it. -
Is any kind of screen issues covered by the On site warrenty?
